Some things are just part of holiday tradition, whether it's singing carols or baking cookies, or, yes, even arguing. The debate on which is the better Christmas tree – a live one that is cut down or a pre-lit, artificial tree that you assemble and store – seems to be one of the favorites.
It's easy to see why. Artificial Christmas trees come in easy-to-assemble pieces complete with lights already in place and can be set up much earlier and left up longer. Artificial trees are safer because they are not a fire hazard or drop needles that can cause children to choke
Artificial Christmas trees come in all sizes, shapes and colors and allow you to be much more creative with how you decorate your home. Artificial Christmas trees don't make the mess and don’t require ongoing watering and cleaning
Economically, artificial trees can also be easier on your wallet. For the cost of a single large live tree, you can purchase an artificial tree that looks the same but will last for many holiday seasons
So if they look the same, cost less, can be used year after year and can prevent living trees from being chopped down… what’s left to debate?
